Lawrence DiBello, principal

Lawrence DiBello performs extensively in the NYC metro area. He is currently Principal horn for the Stamford Symphony and The Mostly Mozart Festival Orchestra at Lincoln Center. He is also a member of the American Symphony as well as Westchester Philharmonic. Some of the other organizations he makes frequent appearances with are the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, NYC Ballet Orchestra, and American Composers Orchestra. He has also been a member of many Broadway show orchestras over the years, most notably Cats, Jesus Christ Superstar, Oklahoma and Fiddler on the Roof revivals, Nine, Mary Poppins and most recently Billy Elliot. In 1990 he was awarded the Walter W. Naumburg Award for chamber music as a Member of the Saturday Brass Quintet.
