Jacqueline Stern has been performing with the Stamford Symphony since 1984. She currently plays in the chamber groups “Terzetta” (based at Caldwell College) and with the “Encore Chamber Players”. She is a cellist with the improv group “Spirit” at Teachers’ College and has played Baroque cello with “New York Baroque”, the “Artek Ensemble” and other groups. Ms Stern conducts the Westchester Junior Strings orchestra, a division of Greater Westchester Youth Orchestras, and the orchestras at the Green Meadow Waldorf School. She has degrees in music from Ithaca College and the Manhattan School of Music. She lives in Tenafly, New Jersey with her husband and two daughters.
